Women's National Team

Both coaches have agreed to a two-year contract and will thus stay with the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Melanie Häfliger has been the head coach of the U18 Women's national team since the 2020-21 season when she was still a player. “It fills me with pride that I can continue to support our talented young players and gradually prepare them for the women's national team," Häfliger said.

Colin Muller, for his part, has been with the Federation since 2011 but has only been coaching the Women's national team since 2020. While Muller has extended his contract, the coaching staff also gained a new member: Alfons Malmström. The 26-year-old Swede will serve as an assistant coach. He will be responsible for the defense.
