Two netminders, eight defenders, and twelve forwards figure on Colin Muller's selection for the Czech edition of the 2024-25 Women's Euro Hockey Tour. It will take place from February 6 to 8, with Switzerland facing Finland and host Czechia. As Sweden is fighting to qualify for the 2026 Olympic Games at the same time, they cannot attend.
In Laure Mériguet, there is a new face on the Swiss roster. The 16-year-old is spending the season with Genève-Servette HC's U17 boys' team but has some experience in the PostFinance Women's league - she suited up for the Fribourg-Gottéron Ladies twice last year.
"Laure put on a strong performance at the U18 World Championships in Finland" head coach Muller notes. "Despite her young age, she is very mature, has a good physical presence, and is particularly impressive on defense. We are excited to see how she will prove herself at this higher level."
For the first time since the Women's World Championship last April, Boston's Alina Müller is part of the national team again. She missed the last WEHT tournament due to injury.
