The EV Zug Frauen have announced a contract extension for Annic Büchi. On a deal that would have run out this spring, the 20-year-old will add two more seasons and thus stay on board until 2028.

"Annic has developed tremendously and has matured into an important key player both on and off the ice", head coach Daniela Diaz comments. "She fits into the team perfectly, and I am delighted that she has committed to EVZ long-term. Together with the players who have already extended their contracts, we are sending an important signal of stability and ambition in the further development of our team."

Prior to Zug, Büchi played for different name iterations of the Thurgau Ladies. In total, she currently stands at 104 games in the PostFinance Women's League and 17 in the SWHL B. This February, after suiting up for the Swiss national team multiple times, she is getting her first chance to participate in the Olympic Games
