Two more extensions - Chiara Eggli and Sarah Mettler stay with Zug

After a short break from announcing extensions, the EV Zug Frauen have arrived with another two: 20-year-old Chiara Eggli and 15-year-old Sarah Mettler, both until 2028. The former has been with the team since its inaugural season, the latter made her first games for them this winter.

"Both players have great potential and have developed well this season", head coach Daniela Diaz states. "By extending their contracts, we are further focusing on continuity and offering perspective for young and talented players."

Mettler finished the season with one goal and eight assists in 23 games, while Eggli collected six goals and four assists in one additional appearance.
