The Women's League team has called upon the help of forward, as several players in the team are out due to injury.

Valérie Christmann, who is under contract with EHC Sursee, will thus reinforce EV Zug via B-license. The 22-year-old forward played for HC Ambrì-Piotta for the past two seasons. Due to HCAP removing their team from the Women's League, Christmann moved to Sursee, the partner team of EV Zug in the SWHL B.

The addition of Christmann is a reaction to several injury-related absences. Chiara Eggli suffered a shoulder injury in the game against HC Davos last Sunday and recquires surgery. She will be out for about four months and will return to the lineup next year.

Luisa Waser, too, underwent surgery at the beginning of the week. A tumor was discovered in the 26-year-old's neck, which must be surgically removed. Waser will still be in the lineup this weekend, but after the surgery, she will need to take a four- to six-week break.
