Women's League

The third game of the playoff final is taking place at 19:30, with the squad from the capital up 2-0 in the best-of-five series.

The four regular season meetings between the SC Bern Frauen and the EV Zug Frauen were all won by the latter. Simply due to that, one might have favoured Zug when the two teams came to meet again in the playoff final, without either of them having dropped a game in the semifinal. Instead, Bern has been getting the better of Zug so far, resulting in a 2-0 series score.

Game 3 of the series is scheduled for tonight, 19:30, and it might end with the Bears winning their first Women's League title (spanning back to their time as EV Bomo Thun). With Bern's men's team eliminated from the National League playoffs yesterday, the capital city might nonetheless be able to celebrate a top-level hockey championship title.
