After the Finnish team, Noro has also found the Swiss squad - they decided to isolate last night and not attend the opening ceremony.

As Swiss Ice Hockey informed yesterday evening, there has been one positive Norovirus case on the Swiss women's national team. The result only came in after their game against Czechia (a 4-3 shootout win), so it was decided that the team would not attend the opening ceremony, which was scheduled to take place right after the game.

The affected athlete was isolated from the rest of the team ever since showing symptoms, but has been free of them since yesterday morning.

Tonight's game between Switzerland and Canada (21:10 CET) should take place as scheduled for now. "From a medical point of view, there are currently no concerns about the game going ahead, provided that no other players show symptoms", Hanspeter Betschart, Chief Medical Officer Swiss Olympic Team, stated in an update on the situation this morning.
