Two-year deal with St. Louis for Pius Suter

The writing was on the wall regarding Pius Suter's future with the Vancouver Canucks. With trades and signings, the Canadian organization created a situation without much wiggle room to squeeze in a new contract for the forward. Instead, Suter is now joining the St. Louis Blues.

Last season with Vancouver, the 29-year-old recorded 25 goals and 21 assists for 46 points, a career-high in the NHL. In total, he stands at 84 goals ans 81 assists, in 377 games.

Suter's new deal is worth 4.125 million dollar per year and lasts until 2027.
