As usual, the newly drafted players have been invited to development camps with their new NHL clubs. Three of the four Swiss draftees - EV Zug's Christian Kirsch by the San Jose Sharks, HC Davos' Rico Gredig to the New York Rangers' camp,  and Lausanne HC's Basile Sansonnens to Vancouver - have all received their calls. The Washington Capitals - with Zug's Leon Muggli - have not yet released their list.

Jan Cadieux and Yorick Treille, Genève-Servette HC's head and assistant coach, have been invited to a development camp as well. In their case, it is as guest coaches by the Montréal Canadiens.
