Leon Muggli drafted by the Washington Capitals

Leon Muggli is a product of EV Zug's organization. He made his debut at the professional level this past season, recording three goals and nine assists in 42 regular-season games for the Bulls. He also added one goal and one assist in eleven postseason games to his tally. 

Muggli, 17, spent the 2023-24 season with EV Zug of the Swiss National League, where he led all under-18 skaters with 12 points (3g, 9a) in 42 games. Muggli's 12 points were the most ever by a defenseman age 17 or younger in league history. https://t.co/RVIuNmhvM8

Muggli also captained Switzerland's U18 team and was part of Switzerland's World Junior team this past season.
