Hughes appeared in 19 regular-season games for Lausanne HC last season, posting a .940 save percentage. He ended the playoffs with a .933 save percentage after 18 games.

Hrubec, who is also nominated in the categories "MVP of the Regular Season" and "MVP Playoffs" posted a .932 save percentage in 42 regular-season games for the ZSC Lions.

Reto Berra, for his part, appeared in 41 games for HC Fribourg-Gottéron, putting up a .929 save percentage. In 12 postseason games, he recorded a .930 save percentage.
