HC Davos opened the scoring in today's final twelve minutes into the game. However, the U.S. team responded immediately to Rasmus Asplund's goal, making it 1-1 after 14 minutes. Adam Tambellini scored only one minute later, securing a 2-1 lead for HC Davos.
The two teams also recorded three goals in the second period, making it 3-3 again at the end of the period. The game remained tied well into the third period. The tie was only broken in the 56th minute by Filip Zedina, bringing Davos ahead.
The U.S. Collegiate Selects were unable to come back after that. Enzo Corvi and Matej Stransky ensured HC Davos' victory, scoring another two goals and thus leading to a final score of 3-6.
