Are the SCL Tigers the next Swiss team at the Spengler Cup?

As Marc Gianola, head of the Spengler Cup's organizing committee, tells Klaus Zaugg (article published in the newspapers of CH Media), they are in talks with the SCL Tigers. Langnau is supposed to be the next Swiss team at the Spengler Cup. HC Fribourg-Gottéron would only return to the tournament if they were to win this year.

Pascal Müller, team manager of the SCL Tigers, travelled to Davos to discuss their potential participation with Gianola and was willing to disclose a bit more than HCD's CEO: "We are largely in agreement."
