HC Sierre has announced two additions to their roster - Damien Prevate and Michael Pastori. They both join from the GDT Bellinzona Snakes effective immediately and will finish the season with Sierre.
20-year-old Prevate spent the first part of his junior time in Canadian leagues before joining Genève-Servette's youth department in 2020. Bellinzona was the forward's first experience in men's hockey. "Prevate will quickly become a fan favorite thanks to his physical play, determination, and natural instinct to protect his teammates", team manager Chris McSorley states.
23-year-old Pastori grew up playing for HC Ambrì-Piotta and was mostly part of the Snakes or their predecessors, the Ticino Rockets, for the last few seasons. "Pastori is a solid defender who, as a former captain, has great leadership qualities and brings valuable defensive stability to the team", McSorley comments on the second addition.
