The GDT Bellinzona Snakes add Damien Prevate to their roster

The 19-year-old Canadian forward joins the Snakes from the U20 squad of Genève-Servette HC.

Damien Prevate was born in Quebec but moved to Switzerland in 2020 when he joined the youth sector of Genève-Servette HC. Now, he is in possession of a Swiss player's license and he will use it to begin his professional career with the GDT Bellinzona Snakes. He has signed a one-year contract with the Swiss League club.

Last season, Prevate scored 18 goals and put up 9 assists in 37 regular season games, to which he added two more goals in seven playoff games.
