EHC Visp won game six against EHC Basel with 2-1 and thus took the series with 4-2. They will face HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the semifinals, as the latter also won their Game 6 against EHC Chur with 2-1 today.
As both teams have been cleared to join the National League if they were to win the League Qualification, HC Ajoie and HC Ambrì-Piotta will definitely have to play their playout series.
The other Swiss League semifinal will see HC Sierre and EHC Olten face each other.
