Swiss League

Luca Deussen already reinforced the Lions for the playoffs; now, he will stick around for a full season. Timo Kauth comes from their local partner team, Frauenfeld.

On the way out: Fabio Hollenstein

HC Thurgau

As HC Thurgau informs, Fabio Hollenstein will no longer be part of the club. After six seasons with them (plus two when he suited up on loan from the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers), the forward has to find a new home. Over his tenure as a Lion, the 29-year-old recorded 40 goals and 34 assists. His 368 games are the fifth most anyone has played for Thurgau.

With Luca Deussen, a familiar face is set to wear the green jersey again next season. The 22-year-old defenseman has already suited up 104 times for them since 2023, either on loan from EHC Kloten or then as playoff reinforcement after EHC Winterthur's elimination.

Timo Kauth (22) also has previous experience with Thurgau, albeit only five games. The last two seasons, he was a member of EHC Frauenfeld, finishing this past winter as the MyHockey League's third-best scorer (with 35 points in 28 appearances). His hockey journey started within Winterthur's organization.
