In Basel, Robin Farkas will replace Heinz Ehlers, who left the club a few weeks ago to take over from Jussi Tapola in Bern. Farkas was last active as a head coach from 2021 to 2023, when he was behind the bench of the Bayreuth Tigers in the second tier of German hockey. From 2015 to 2018, he was a member of the coaching staff of the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
