Swiss League
The Swiss League team has extended the contract of the 30-year-old defenseman for another year. His new deal is valid until the end of the 2026-27 season.
EHC Basel
"Marc brings stability to the defense while also being able to adapt flexibly to different game situations and, at times, provide pace up front," Kevin Schläpfer, team manager of EHC Basel, said.
Aeschlimann appeared in 50 regular-season games for EHC Basel this past season, recording two goals and eleven assists. He also played in six postseason games for Basel.
