Kay Schweri from Basel back to Chaux-de-Fonds

Sometimes, you just cannot stay away for long - this seems to be the case for Kay Schweri. Having left HC La Chaux-de-Fonds a year ago to try his luck with EHC Basel, the forward has signed with the Bees again. His new contract is valid for one season.

"We have always maintained good contact with Kay", team manager Loïc Burkhalter notes. "After a more challenging 2024–2025 season with us, his stint in Basel allowed him to get back on track. He is a high-performing player, capable of bringing his offensive skills and creativity to the team."

During the aforementioned stint in Basel, 29-year-old Schweri recorded twelve goals and 37 assists in 52 games.
