Hnat Domenichelli had been looking for a spot for the 21-year-old forward to get some ice time in. The team manager of HC Lugano found it in the Valais.
HC Lugano
Roberts Cjunskis has been loaned to HC Sierre for the season and will receive the opportunity to play in the Swiss League this season. The forward made his National League debut last season.
The Latvian is in possession of a Swiss players' license and does not count as an import player. Cjunskis appeared in 28 regular-season games (one goal, one assist) for HC Lugano and 27 regular-season games for their U20 team (13 goals, eight assists) last season.
