Louis Matte has been relieved of his duties effective immediately. He will, for now, be replaced by Loïc Burkhalter and Santeri Matikainen.
HC La Chaux-de-Fonds
Due to "the recent bad results and the state of the team" in general, the board of directors have decided that a change in the coaching staff is needed. The 54-year-old has been coaching HC La Chaux-de-Fonds since the 2022-23 season.
HCC is currently sitting in third place in the Swiss League standings. They have collected 74 points up to now, the same amount as HC Thurgau and EHC Visp.
