HC La Chaux-de-Fonds aims to compete in the promotion-relegation playoffs for the National League. President Olivier Calame is optimistic about their chances.

Unlike last year, when their bid was denied due to delays in the Mélèzes rink renovation, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds’ current application is backed by a profit reported at the end of the 2023-2024 season. Calame believes the city's recent public presentation of the new rink project will help alleviate previous concerns from the National League.

Calame has proactively engaged in discussions with National League officials, emphasizing the need to avoid a repeat of last year’s situation. The president is hopeful for a more favorable reception this time, with a decision expected by late November or early December.
