GCK's Yannick Blaser to retire, coach the Lakers' U21

Once the GCK Lions' season is over, Yannick Blaser will put an end to his on-ice career. As the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers announce, he is instead taking over their U21, which will become a thing due to the age-restructuring of the youth sector in Swiss hockey.

Blaser split his junior time between the SCL Tigers and SC Langenthal and eventually moved to EV Zug in 2009. After seven years with them, he returned to Langnau. In 2022, he was loaned to the Lions and then properly joined them a season later.
