Gary Sheehan out, Christian Wohlwend in as Olten's coach

Gary Sheehan has been relieved of his duties as EHC Olten's head coach and team manager. In his stead, Christian Wohlwend - recently let go by HC Ajoie - will hold the position behind the bench, and board member Thomas Roost is taking on the team manager duties.

"I am convinced of the qualities of this team and am really looking forward to working with them", Wohlwend states. "I know some of the players as well as the assistant coach from previous times - I see the EHCO as a starting point where I can make an ideal contribution as a passionate and tenacious coach."

The 47-year-old has signed a contract until 2027.
