Four Swiss League teams have applied for promotion

As Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") reports, HC La Chaux-de-Fonds would, however, in case of a promotion not be allowed to play their home games at their own arena. Instead, they would have to host the games in Neuchâtel.

As for HC Sierre, Zaugg writes that the team's application definitely will not be greenlighted as their arena does not meet the criteria of the National League. As Chris McSorley tells "Watson", HC Sierre only handed in the application to know how to apply for when they really want to be promoted to the National League: “[...]By submitting the application, we find out what is required and we can also incorporate this information into the planning of the new arena.”
