After six seasons as a full-time National League player, Colin Gerber has decided to accept the offer of EHC Visp and will thus suit up in the Swiss League. There, with his experience, he is expected to take on an important role in the defense.

Daniele Marghitola, team manager of EHC Visp, describes Gerber as a player with a complete profile: "Colin is a responsible and extremely disciplined defender - qualities that are crucial for strengthening our defensive structure. He has size and stature, but is still an agile defender who can keep up with the pace of the modern game while maintaining a physical presence".

Last season, Gerber scored two goals in 33 games with the Lakers, while his career season-high was set in the 2022-23 season with SC Bern, when he collected ten points.
