HC Ajoie has loaned the 24-year-old forward to the Swiss League team, as they are dealing with a decimated team.

EHC Basel has several players on their list of injured players. Elvis Schläpfer will reinforce the team via B-license. The Ajoulots can, however, recall the forward at any given time.
Schläpfer is currently in his first season with HC Ajoie. He has appeared in 15 regular-season games for them, but has yet to put his name on the scoresheet.
