The 19-year-old goaltender will - in all likeliness - be part of EHC Chur's roster until Elijah Neuenschwander returns from the World Juniors.

It will not be the first time Santo Simmchen will be part of EHC Chur's squad, albeit the first time at the pro level. The goaltender appeared in one game for their U20 team two seasons ago.
Simmchen joined the team today and will be in the lineup for tomorrow's game. EHC Chur's goalie tandem will consist of Simmchen and Niels Riesen as Martin Neckar is also with his national team.
