Dominic Forget grew up in Canada but has been playing in Europe since the 2004-05 season. In 2006 he then signed with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds and stayed in Switzerland (except for one season in Japan) for the rest of his career.
Forget won one championship title with EHC Visp during his stay in Switzerland. He suited up for HCC (a bit more than seven seasons), Visp (six seasons, four as a captain), EHC Kloten (three seasons), EHC Olten, and lastly EHC Winterthur. He played 925 Swiss League games, recording 483 goals and 665 assists.
