Damien Prevate stays with HC Sierre

A temporary reinforcement at the end of the past season, Prevate has now received a fix spot on the roster for the upcoming season.

Damien Prevate arrived in Switzerland from Canada for the 2020-21 season and has just finished his first season as a pro with the GDT Bellinzona Snakes and with HC Sierre once the season of the Rockets was over.

Head coach/team manager Chris McSorley is happy to continue the collaboration with the 20-year-old forward: “Damien is a unique player, giving his all for the team with a physical style of play. I'm looking forward to working with him next season.”

Last year, Prevate appeared in 36 games with the Snakes, recording seven points. Then, with Sierre, the Swiss-Canadian collected one assist in six games.
