According to "Arcinfo", HC La Chaux-de-Fonds has acquired the 25-year-old goaltender for the 2026-27 season.
Viktor Östlund is set to leave the Swiss League team next season. Team manager Loïc Burkhalter had thus to become active on the market. It seems like he has already found a replacement in Bryan Rüegger.
Rüegger would thus return to Switzerland after one season abroad. He has been playing in Denmark this season, posting a .888 save percentage in ten games.
