Having left the National League last summer to pursue his luck in North America, the Finn will now fulfill his contract with the Lions instead.

Juho Lammikko was recently placed on unconditional waivers for contract termination by the New Jersey Devils. Signs pointed towards a return to the ZSC Lions, which the club now confirms. The forward still has a valid contract in place with them from before he left for the NHL; it lasts until 2028.

"We all know Juho's qualities", team manager Sven Leuenberger notes. "As a two-way center, he can be used in any situation, and his energy gives the whole team a boost. Juho's return is also valuable because we now have our old center line back with Malgin, Grant, Lammikko, and Sigrist."

During his time as a Devil, 30-year-old Lammikko played 24 games in the NHL, recording two assists. His prior stint with the Lions saw the Finn appear 176 times in the National League, putting up 60 goals and 71 assists, plus winning two Swiss championships.

With Lammikko's addition, Zurich now has eight imports on their roster.
