Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") provides an update to the report he made back in early April: the Lions have now indeed made an offer for a contract extension to the veteran forward.

Denis Hollenstein

Due to a knee injury, Denis Hollenstein missed the entire season and did not play a single championship game. The ZSC Lions have now supposedly offered him a one-year deal.

As Zaugg further reports, Hollenstein's agent has not received any inquiries from other teams. That also applies to EHC Kloten, the organisation which developed him. It remains to be seen what Hollenstein will decide to do about his future. He has been with the ZSC Lions since 2018.

In a side note, Zaugg also mentions that Michel Zeiter might return to the ZSC Lions. The 51-year-old was EHC Basel's assistant coach for the past three seasons, but he might take on a role in ZSC's development sector next season.
