The SCL Tigers add Swedish forward André Petersson to their roster

André Petersson is the sixth foreigner under contract with the SCL Tigers for the 2025-26 season and is the only non-Finn import. Petersson joins Langnau from HV71, a club from the Swedish Hockey League.

Pascal Müller, the team manager of the SCL Tigers, says of the latest acquisition: "His experience from top international leagues and his class as a player will give our offense an important boost. His qualities in the power play, in particular, will enrich the team."

After growing up in the organization of HV71, in 2011 Petersson left Sweden for the AHL. Then, from 2014 to 2022, he suited up for various clubs in the KHL, and from 2022 until 2025, he was again a member of HV71. This past season, he scored 19 goals and collected eleven assists in 46 games. Internationally, he participated in the 2023 World Championship.
