Daniele Grassi is a product of HC Ambrì-Piotta and started his career as a professional hockey player with the Biancoblù. In 2016, he left the team to play for EHC Kloten for two seasons. Afterwards, he suited up for SC Bern.
He returned to HCAP in 2020 and has been the team's captain ever since. This season, Grassi recorded one goal and two assists in eleven games.
