The 25-year-old netminder has signed a premature contract extension, making him a member until 2028.

By extending Robin Meyer’s contract early, the SCL Tigers are prioritizing continuity in the goaltending position. Alongside Meyer, Langnau's trio in net consists of Luca Boltshauser and Martin Neckar, who also have contracts through 2028.

"Robin has developed well since joining the SCL Tigers. With this contract extension, we are consistently continuing our approach in the goalie department", William Rahm, Head of Goalies in Languau, states regarding the case. "For years, we have been making targeted investments in the training and development of Swiss goalies, thereby creating a sustainable foundation for the future.”

Meyer has been under contract with the Emmental-based club since last summer. Throughout his first season with them, he played 22 games for the National League club, posting a .919 save percentage.
