Per B license: Jens Nater joins EVZ, HCFG signs Alain Bircher

EHC Basel was eliminated from the Swiss League playoffs last Sunday at the hands of EHC Visp. However, defensemen Jens Nater and Alain Bircher will continue their season in the National League.

Nater, 30, will strengthen EV Zug until the end of the season. He played in five of six possible playoff games for the Swiss League club, but did not score any points. 

For his part, Bircher will strengthen HC Fribourg-Gottéron's blueline with immediate effect until the end of the season. The 30-year-old played in all six playoff games and scored one goal.
