Reto Suri's number 26 will be hoisted alongside Philipp Neuenschwander’s 20, Patrick Fischer’s 21, André Künzi’s 33, and, most recently, Fabian Schnyder’s 57 in the rafters of the Bossard Arena. The opponent, HC Davos, has been chosen purposely. HCD's head coach, Josh Holden, played many times alongside Reto Suri. Since his retirement, Suri has been the assistant coach of the U20 squad of EVZ since the 2024-25 season and also works as a scout and player developer for the club.

Reto Suri played a total of 852 games in the National League - mostly with the Bulls but also with HC Lugano, Genève-Servette HC, and the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, and 38 games in the Champions Hockey League. In 17 professional seasons in the National League, Suri scored 197 goals, 240 assists and 437 points.
