New assistant coach for the Biancoblù - Saku Martikainen joins

The Finn is part of the team until the end of the season. Manuele Celio will return to his duties as the head of Ambrì's youth department.

HC Ambrì-Piotta's coaching staff is getting a new member. René Matte and Eric Landry are joined by Saku Martikainen for the rest of the season. Besides one short stint as head coach, the Finn has always been working as assistant in his career in men's hockey coaching (including two years with EHC Kloten), and will continue to do so with the Biancoblù.

On several occasions, the 46-year-old has also been with Finnish junior national teams, as an assistant as well. His last club job was with the DEL's Düsseldorfer EG.
