Klaus Zaugg ("Watson") reported yesterday that the Bears are interested in acquiring Connor Hughes through a potential trade with Lausanne HC, involving Romain Loeffel and a forward.
As the "Berner Zeitung" reports today, SC Bern has also taken an interest in Kevin Pasche. Just like Hughes, Pasche has a valid contract with Lausanne HC in place, which is running beyond the current season. The newspaper speculates, however, that the 22-year-old goaltender would be a better fit for what the Bears are looking for.
Pasche has appeared in 22 games for LHC this season, posting a .914 save percentage. Hughes, for his part, posted a .912 save percentage in 20 games for Lausanne.
