According to "Elite Prospects", the 33-year-old forward might be headed back to Czechia for the 2026-27 season.

Jiří Sekáč is at the end of his contract with HC Lugano and has yet to sign a new contract. He would thus be free to sign with Sparta Praha. The Czech forward has been playing in Switzerland for the past five seasons. The last two years, he was under contract with HC Lugano.
This season, he recorded seven goals and ten assists in 39 regular-season games. He also added two assists to his tally in the postseason.
