The 34-year-old defenseman has agreed to a one-year contract extension. His new deal is valid until the end of the 2025-26 season.

"Jannik Fischer is a defensive defenseman the team can count on in all circumstances. He's also one of the leaders in the locker room and a real competitor we're happy to be able to count on again next season," Julien Vauclair, team manager of HC Ajoie, said.
Jannik Fischer has been with the Ajoulots since the 2023-24 season. This season, he has appeared in 22 games but has yet to put his name on the scoresheet.
