Is Ville Peltonen a candidate for SCB's head coaching position?

Heinz Ehlers is rumored to return to Denmark this summer. Asked by the "Berner Zeitung", whether he could imagine staying in the capital city, he had this to say: "I've been asked [by reporters] several times. That's it. I won't talk about it. People can speculate as much as they want."

Lars Leuenberger's name has also been brought up in connection with the head coaching position. He is, however, under contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Ville Peltonen's name has also come up. The current head coach of Genève-Servette HC is also familiar with the organization, as he was part of SCB's coaching staff from 2016 to 2018.

Peltonen took over as head coach of the Grenats on October 5, replacing Yorick Treille. His contract will expire at the end of the season.
