According to MTV Urheilu, both Jokerit and HIFK have been in talks with the forward regarding the 2026–2027 season.
They are not the only teams, though. Kiekko-Espoo, his youth team, has also shown its interest in Jere Sallinen. The 35-year-old forward is in his fifth season with EHC Biel and is in his last contracted season with the Seelanders.
This season, Sallinen has appeared in 33 games, recording seven goals and ten assists.
