Lee's one-year contract also includes a clause for a possible stint in the Swiss League. The forward has been playing NCAA hockey for the past five seasons. It is the first time he will play in Europe. Last season, he recorded 13 goals and seven assists in 35 regular-season games for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
In other news, the Bianconeri and Liekit Reichle have agreed to dissolve their working agreement. Reichle signed with HC Lugano in November 2024 and suited up in 25 games for them, but did not put his name on the scoresheet.
While Reichle will thus have to look for a new team, Ramon Tanner has received a tryout opportunity from the Bianconeri. The forward will showcase his skills to HCL's coaching staff during August and September. Last season, the 25-year-old forward recorded three goals and eight assists in 51 regular-season games for EHC Biel.
