Enzo Guebey has agreed to join HC Lugano as of the 2026-27 season and has signed a two-year contract valid until 2028. "His personality and work ethic fit very well with the culture of the HC Lugano's current roster," Janick Steinmann, team manager of the Bianconeri said about the defenseman.
The French national team player, who will also play for France in the Olympics, is a product of Genève-Servette HC's organization. Before joining HC Davos, he played for the ZSC Lions from 2021 to 2023. He has appeared in 25 games for HCD this season, recording two assists.
Samuel Guerra, on the other hand, is not part of HC Lugano's future plans. The 32-year-old defenseman and the Bianconeri have mutually decided to terminate their current contract (valid until 2027) at the end of this season.
Since the end of September 2025, Guerra has been playing for EV Zug on a loan basis (six assists in 24 games). As of next season, he will wear the jersey of EVZ on a permanent basis: he has signed a one-year deal, including an option for an additional season, with the Bulls. The new contract will start to run in spring 2026.
