The Dragons will face SC Bern in the quarterfinals. For the first game of the series on Friday, they will be able to count on several new players.

Cédric Hächler and Daniel Ljunggren will reinforce HC Fribourg-Gottéron. They will join the Dragons from HC Thurgau. Hächler, 31, recorded one goal and three assists in 41 regular-season games. Ljunggren, for his part, put up eight goals and 23 assists in 34 regular-season games.

Moreover, Bryan Rüegger, Kevin Etter, and Dominik Binias will also return to the Dragons' lair. The goaltender and the two forwards, all under contract with HC Fribourg-Gottéron, had been suiting up for HC Thurgau.
