As Klaus Zaugg reports (published in the newspapers of CH Media), team manager Paolo Duca would like to extend the contracts of Dominik Kubalik and Christ DiDomenico. While the first is not yet close to a decision, the latter is expected to decide his future soon.
As Duca tells Zaugg, Kubalik wants to take his time before making his decision. SC Bern is also interested in the forward but the forward might also try his luck in the NHL again or his home, Czechia.
As for Chris DiDomenico, as per Zaugg, Duca was supposed to meet with his agent Derek McCann earlier this week but the meeting fell through because Duca was ill. However, the two parties supposedly are close to a deal, as they only have the length of the contract (two or three years) left to discuss.
Kubalik has appeared in 40 games for HC Ambrì-Piotta this season, recording 21 goals and 16 assists. As for DiDomenico, since his arrival from Fribourg, he put up eight goals and twenty assists in 25 games for the Biancoblù.
