HC Ambrì-Piotta signs two home-grown players to professional contracts

HC Ambrì-Piotta has signed two home-grown players, Jacopo De Luca and Elia Scilacci, to professional contracts through 2028. Both players are now part of the National League club’s expanded professional roster. 

Forward Jacopo De Luca, brother of HCAP player Tommaso De Luca, comes from the club’s youth system but played last season in the Canadian Québec Maritimes Junior Hockey League for the Baie-Comeau Drakkar. There, the 19-year-old recorded 25 points (ten goals) in 56 games. 

The 19-year-old defenseman Elia Scilacci also comes from the club’s own youth system and has progressed through various youth levels. Last season, he played 47 games for the U21 team, recording ten points (one goal).
